ABC might have The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but this week’s Saturday Night Live had Bland Man, about one very bland man and the 25 long-haired women looking to win his heart.

Taran Killam plays Dan, who’s from “Chicago or Denver or something” and whose distinguishing characteristics include brown hair, blue eyes, and a gray shirt. The sketch parodied the long-running reality series’ one-on-one moments, with members of Saturday Night Live’s cast, host Ronda Rousey and musical guest Selena Gomez as the women vying for Dan’s affections.

From the descriptions of the dates (“I loved going to your old high school and watching you cry”) to the “completely honest” revelations, it hit all the standard Bachelor tropes — including when each of the women would interrupt and ask, “Can I steal him for a sec?” to get their own time with Dan.

Other highlights included Cecily Strong as the woman who complains that “All the girls hate me, just because I’m so mean to them,” Aidy Bryant’s revelation of “a secret son…and five daughters,” and Kate McKinnon laughing at every single thing Dan said.
