Zac Efron hugs fan on Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel gave one of his audience members a National Hugging Day she won’t soon forget.

To celebrate the real (?) holiday, Kimmel had guest Zac Efron hug a fan for 30 seconds on Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! episode.

Using the Cutting Crew classic “(I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight” (played on a boom box) as musical accompaniment, Efron and a young woman from Australia whom Kimmel picked out of the crowd hugged and swayed as the fans cheered.

After the embrace was over, Kimmel asked the woman if the hug was up to her standards. “Yeah, it was pretty good,” she joked.
