Dennis Quaid has acted alongside some of the most respected movie stars in the world, but it was his first introduction into the film world that left him starstruck.
In a new Fanuary video, Quaid recalls meeting his idol Marlon Brando while visiting his brother Randy Quaid on the set of the 1976 western The Missouri Breaks. Thanks to his guitar skills, Quaid got tasked with teaching the legend some chords on the mandolin.
“He was the kindest, most wonderful gentleman,” Quaid said. “Got to watch Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson working, so it was a good education.”
Watch the video above to see Quaid describe the memorable encounter, and keep checking back as we add more celebrity interviews and other Fanuary coverage over the course of this month.
