Survivor: Kaôh Rōng: Cast revealed (with intel from Jeff Probst)
The full cast list for Survivor: Kaôh Rōng is finally here.
First we learned about the return to the Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty theme, complete with some players like former NBA champion Scot Pollard and former Big Brother contestant Caleb “Beast Mode Cowboy” Reynolds. Then we broke news with the reveal of the new dual-purpose “super idol.” And now we have the full list of the 18 contestants that will be competing for season 32 of the reality franchise when it returns with a special 90-minute premiere on Feb. 17.
Included in the cast are a bounty hunter, a female body builder, an emergency room doctor, and a pro poker player. The age ranges all the way from 19-year-old student Julie Sokolowski to 72-year-old former FBI agent Joseph Del Campo. The 18 players will be divided into tribes of three: the Chan Loh tribe (for Brains), the To Tang tribe (Brawn), and the Gondol tribe (Beauty).

Survivor previously used the Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty concept for Survivor: Cagayan (season 28), which is considered one of the show’s best seasons ever. Host Jeff Probst says the theme will once again pay dividends here. “The division of brains, brawn and beauty once again is really interesting,” says Probst. “Even from the first three days, you see very clear differences within each tribe. And loyalty is a theme this season, but, then again, when isn’t it?”
Probst is also excited about the way the hidden immunity idols will play out this season, which include the ability to use two idols individually or put them together to create a “super-idol” that can be used after the votes are read. “Securing an idol will take a bit more work this season,” says the host, “and I think the fans will enjoy the twist.”
Finally, get ready for a Cambodia-set installment that may go down as the most physically brutal ever. “This season is also going to see a lot of hardship,” says Probst. “From the extreme of an evacuation to something as small as a really bad sunburn, every day truly posed a new risk to this group. The heat, the rain, the bugs and the infections were a daily obstacle.”
