Dierks Bentley has a treat to put his fans back in vacation mode. The country star dropped the the lead single off his forthcoming album Black, “Somewhere on a Beach,” on Tuesday. The kiss-off track falls amid a set of “angsty relationship songs” and follows a man who found a new girl and spends all day drinking and partying with her, while ignoring calls from his previous lover.

Bentley dubbed Black a “relationship record” when he announced the album and as its first single, “Somewhere On A Beach” sets the tone for the collection.

“I have to kind of go through this whole therapy session of making the record and then before the whole single comes out,” Bentley tells EW of picking choosing the song as a single. “With ‘Somewhere on a Beach,’ I’m resolved. I’m ready to have fun already. And I know that’s something we’re all going to have fun singing.”

He continued, “To me, there’s an attitude of that song that it’s a nighttime beach vibe.”

Bentley also announced his Somewhere on a Beach tour, which will kick off in Dublin on April 21. He’ll play three more European dates before arriving at New Jersey’s PNC Bank Arts Center May 12. Randy Houser and Cam will join the country singer in Jersey ahead of his stops at 36 other North American cities in support of his upcoming eighth studio album. Tickets go on sale Jan. 29.

Black does not yet have a release date, but the album is expected sometime this year and available for preorder on Bentley’s site.
