'Nobody remembers when someone's pleasant to them,' the newly minted Golden Globe winner told Meyers
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom is riding high right now in the wake of her Golden Globe win, but she wasn’t always the star of her own show. Way back in the day Bloom was a Saturday Night Live intern, a period she reminisced about with her old boss Seth Meyers on Thursday night. Meyers, however, did not remember much about this time and asked Bloom what his reputation was like among interns.
“Here’s what I have to preface this with: nobody remembers when someone’s pleasant to them,” Bloom began.
“I hate how you’re prefacing this,” Meyers said.

This preface was to an anecdote about a time Meyers was neither pleasant nor over-the-top kind (like when Alec Baldwin loaned Bloom his car to pick up coffee) but mildly rude. Bloom said another intern was once sent to get Meyers a salad and ended up with the wrong order.

“They gave you the salad and said, ‘Oh my God, I’m so sorry, it’s the wrong salad — do you want me to get another one?’ ” Bloom recalled. “You went, ‘No I guess we can work with this,’ and you slammed the door.”
“So I didn’t make them get a second salad! Give it up!” Meyers joked, starting a clap for himself.
