Last Week Tonight With John Oliver

  • TV Show

Back despite popular demand (of those who don’t agree with him), John Oliver is returning to the Last Week Tonight desk in February, and he’s acknowledging his critics in a new teaser for season 3.

Oliver, stuck behind a rotating glass desk, Oliver is put face-to-face with the criticisms he has received … largely from those he has covered on the show. From Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa to Donald Trump to former FIFA Vice President Jack Warner, Oliver is forced to contend with those who probably won’t tune into the new season.

But Oliver is actually a little excited to hear that the Cher has some unkind words for him as well, so perhaps not everything is looking so dour going into the new year.

Watch the promo above to see how Oliver contends with his detractors. Season 3 of Last Week Tonight will debut Feb. 14 on HBO.
