It may not have reached Broadway yet, but The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be able to share its songs with the world thanks to a studio cast album that brings the stage adaptation of Disney’s beloved 1996 film to life. With& music by legendary composer Alan Menken (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin), The Hunchback of Notre Dame‘s cast album will feature a 25-piece orchestra and acclaimed talent such as Michael Arden (Big River), Patrick Page (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), Ciara Renee (Pippin) and Andrew Samonsky (Lincoln Center’s South Pacific).

“I am thrilled that artists around the world now have the opportunity to realize their own visions for Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, and Peter Parnell’s remarkable stage adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” Thomas Schumacher, Producer and President of Disney Theatrical Productions, said in a statement. “And what a gift it is to have this glorious album to act as an ambassador for the title as it enters this new chapter.”
