Among some EW staffers — this writer included — the film Green Room is one of 2016’s most eagerly anticipated movies. Why? Partly because it is written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier, the man who brought us 2013’s brutal, bloody, brilliant revenge thriller Blue Ruin, and partly because it stars Patrick Stewart as a neo-Nazi.

Costarring Anton Yelchin and Alia Shawkat, Green Room concerns a punk-rock band who score a gig deep in the backwoods of Oregon which goes horribly awry after they witness an act of violence. The film will have a limited release on April 1 and then expand nationally on April 15.
