Joe Jonas and his new bandmates are heading to Rydell High.

EW and PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that DNCE, the four-member pop-rock band fronted by 26-year-old Jonas, has joined the cast of Fox’s Grease: Live.

And the band will be playing … another band!

DNCE will double as Johnny Casino and the Gamblers, the questionably wholesome school dance band that takes the stage at Rydell’s high school hop. In the 1978 film, the rock-and-roll group Sha Na Na gives life to the Gamblers.

Grease: Live also recently announced another musical group joining the telecast: Boyz II Men, who will play a trio of Teen Angels.

Airing on Jan. 31 in front of a live audience, the Fox broadcast of Grease already includes a very well-rounded cast of musical stars, including Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, Vanessa Hudgens, Carly Rae Jepsen, Keke Palmer, Carlos PenaVega, and Kether Donahue.
