Saturday Night Live standout and master chameleon Taran Killam shows off his latest impersonation on the upcoming episode of New Girl, where he plays a boring person. A really, really, really boring person.

Killam guests as Jess’ (Zooey Deschanel) love interest in the episode — only problem is, Jess isn’t all that interested in him thanks to his overwhelming dullness. In an exclusive clip, that dullness is on full display as he rattles on about the types of cheese he’s into while Jess likely brainstorms a way to escape.
