After David Bowie’s death on Sunday, many late-night shows honored the iconic artist in various ways during Monday’s broadcasts.

On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, musical guests El Vy — made up of The National’s Matt Beringer and Menomena’s Brent Knopf — teamed up with Colbert house bandleader Jon Batiste and Stay Human to sing Bowie’s classic 1983 song, “Let’s Dance.”

Bowie’s family announced his death early Monday morning and revealed he had been battling cancer for 18 months. An outpouring of love and tributes from fans, peers, collaborators, and world leaders soon followed, as the world remembered The Thin White Duke.
