As stars of film and television stepped out for the Golden Globes, people watching at home were following the awards on social media.

Twitter says Sunday’s live broadcast generated more than 4.4 million tweets globally, with Lady Gaga’s win for best actress in a limited series for American Horror Story: Hotel deemed the night’s most-talked-about moment on the 140-character platform.

“I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley film Moonstruck right now,” she said onstage as she accepted the award on Sunday. “It’s like one of the greatest moments of my life.”

Coming in behind Gaga’s win and emotional speech was Leonardo DiCaprio capturing his third Golden Globe win for his role in The Revenant. Third place went to Mr. Robot’s win for best TV drama.

Gaga was also the Globes attendee who garnered the most Twitter attention overall, with Jennifer Lawrence and DiCaprio in second and third place, respectively.

And before the show, as red carpet arrivals rolled in, Gaga topped the conversation once again. She was the most discussed star on the red carpet, according to Twitter, with Lawrence in second place and Katy Perry in third.
