Looking to watch the Golden Globes online? Sorry, cord cutters.

NBC will not allow streaming of the awards show on Sunday night. (Yup, in 2016! NBC’s gonna program like its 1999 at the Beverly Hilton.)

Despite some reports claiming otherwise, the network confirmed to EW that the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, honoring the best in film and television, will not be online anywhere during the show. It’s a big departure from the trend of making content available as widely as possible. Viewers who are interested in watching the ceremony live will have to find somebody who owns a real TV set. Ricky Gervais is set to host the event, which begins at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

As for those without a television set or cable, they can just come to, where we will have the show covered all night long. For more on this year’s Golden Globes, including a full list of the key nominees, head here.
