Pixar’s most memorable films can take viewers to worlds they’ve never imagined, whether it’s into a child’s room full of living toys or the emotions inside the mind of a tween girl. But those original worlds are filled with tributes to some of the most iconic films of all time.

A new montage by Jorge Luengo Ruiz calls out a number of Pixar sequences that pay tribute to classic films from Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, and others. From Buzz Lightyear outrunning a globe in the style of Raiders of the Lost Ark to Finding Nemo scenes reminiscent of The BirdsTitanic, and more, Ruiz has picked out a number of amusing and touching homages to film history’s biggest moments.

Check out Ruiz’s montage above to see some of the more obvious call-outs — and some of the moments you may have missed — that showcase the studio’s influences and its love of the films that have preceded some of their most beloved animated hits.
