When Emma Watson announced her feminist book club, “Our Shared Shelf,” on Wednesday, readers — including the EW Books team — clamored to figure out which book the brainy actress would choose as her first pick.

Watson announced Thursday that she had, fittingly, chosen Ms. magazine founder and feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem’s memoir, My Life on the Road, which came out in October of 2015.

“I’m reading it with a pen in hand so I can do some underlining and margin writing,” Watson wrote in a post on “Our Shared Shelf’s” Goodreads page. She also noted that the group will have its discussion in two weeks, at the last week of the month.

So, book club members, in the words of our fearless leader, Watson: “Got to get reading!”
