David Bowie shared the new music video for “Lazarus,” off his new album Blackstar, early Thursday morning after teasing it this week. Directed by Breaking Bad helmer Johan Renck, the vid features Bowie in a hospital bed wearing an eye bandage dotted with buttons, the same one he wears in the clip for “Blackstar.”

“One could only dream about collaborating with a mind like that; let alone twice,” Renk, who also directed “Blackstar,” said in a release about the video. “Intuitive, playful, mysterious and profound… I have no desire to do any more videos knowing the process never ever gets as formidable and fulfilling as this was. I’ve basically touched the sun.”

For the collection, Bowie collaborated with horn player Donny McCaslin, who recently spoke to EW about the project. “His approach when we got into the studio was very open and very collaborative,” McCasln said. “I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but let’s have fun and see where it goes.’ He’s a guy who could do anything at this point. I didn’t notice him reaching back. I just felt like he’s pushing to do something new.”
