After nine seasons, The Big Bang Theory is finally going to introduce Sheldon’s meemaw!
Academy Award nominee June Squibb has been tapped to play Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) much-discussed, but never-before-seen grandmother, EW has learned exclusively.
Details on what meemaw will be up to are being kept under wraps, but Squibb will appear in an episode slated for February.
The Nebraska star is very popular on CBS right now. This season, Squibb has appeared on two other network series, Mom and Code Black.
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
