Comedian and actor Michael Ian Black has been a familiar face for pop culture aficionados for years, lending his crackling commentary to seemingly any topic (ever heard of a pair of shows called I Love the ’80s and I Love the ’90s?). But in his new book, Navel Gazing: True Tales of Bodies, Mostly Mine (But Also My Mom’s Which I Know Sounds Weird), out Tuesday, Black turns his critical eye inward to examine his own life.
Below, EW shares an exclusive clip of Black discussing Navel Gazing, explaining why, as he says, “If there is a god in this universe, this book will not have a sequel,” and sharing who he’d like to narrate the audiobook if he weren’t doing it himself.
