The Casting Society of America unveiled its film nominees for the annual Artios Awards, recognizing everything from big-budget awards contenders like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Mad Max: Fury Road to smaller indies like It Follows and Dope.

The CSA awards films in several categories and makes a point to distinguish between Big Budget, Low Budget, and Studio or Independent productions. In the Big Budget Drama category, Star Wars and Mad Max were joined by Spotlight, Bridge of Spies, and Straight Outta Compton. The Studio or Independent Drama category was packed with Oscar contenders: Brooklyn, Carol, The Danish Girl, Room, and Trumbo.

Final ballots for the awards have been distributed to CSA members, and voting will continue through Jan. 8. The winners for film, television, theater, short film, and new media will all be announced at the 31st annual Artios on Jan. 21.

Director Danny Boyle will also receive the Career Achievement Award, and writers Michelle and Robert King (The Good Wife) will be given the New York Apple Award. Casting director Bernard Telsey, who earned two Artios nominations for The Intern and Ricki and the Flash, will also be honored with the Hoyt Bowers Award.

Last year’s Artios Awards — which included films from an expanded eligibility period due to a date shift — honored Boyhood, 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Dallas Buyers Club, among others.
