You can learn a lot about Alexander Hamilton from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s record-breaking Broadway show, from his immigrant roots to his steamy sex scandal. Miranda used Ron Chernow’s extensive biography of the founding father to ensure that Hamilton was as accurate as possible, and he even brought Chernow on board as the show’s official historical adviser. But there’s only so much you can cram into one musical, and a few details from Hamilton’s life had to be left out.

So when Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam stopped by the Richard Rodgers Theatre to participate in the show’s “Ham4Ham” ticket lottery, he decided to shine a light on a few lesser-known Hamilton facts. As Miranda looked on, Killam performed his own composition, recounting 12 facts about Hamilton not covered in the show, sung to the tune of “The 12 Days of Christmas.” While most of Killam’s revelations are pretty straightforward, his “facts” get progressively weirder. (Of course Hamilton’s favorite Kardashian was Khloe.)

Killam is only the latest in a string of famous faces who’ve performed for Ham4Ham, which lets hopeful theatergoers enter a lottery to win $10 same-day tickets. Past participants include Aladdin star Lea Salonga, who performed “A Whole New World” with Miranda, and all three actors who’ve played King George in the show.
