In welcoming the new year, which will feature the release of X-Men: Apocalypse, Olivia Munn revealed a new look at herself in costume as Psylocke.

“To say hello to 2016, I’m gonna say GOODBYE TO 2015 with my Top 5 Favorite Memories of 2015 (that I can think of),” she wrote on Instagram. While her No. 5 moment was vacationing with her girlfriends, No. 4 was playing the psionic mutant for director Bryan Singer.

Alongside a behind-the-scenes look from the apocalyptic set, Munn described Psylocke as “a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun.”

Speaking with EW last year, Munn said, “I’ve got like my thigh-highs and a halter, but the thing about that, and that was important, is that it doesn’t matter what I’m wearing as long as we’re all aware of who she is. She’s very strong and she’s very lethal and she’s very powerful, and it doesn’t really matter what she’s wearing as long as you have that strength and that presence.”

Munn will play one of Apocalypse’s Four Horsemen alongside Ben Hardy (Archangel), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), and Michael Fassbender (Magneto) when the film debuts on May 27.
