After hosting the Golden Globes for three consecutive years starting in 2010, Ricky Gervais is coming back to host the ceremony — and he’s already apologizing in advance for his shenanigans. 

“Because I can see the future, I’d like to [apologize] now for the things I said at next week’s Golden Globes,” the comedian wrote on Twitter. “I was drunk & didn’t give a f–k.”

Gervais’ previous hosting stints garnered both controversy and acclaim for his no-holds-barred gags and jabs at celebrities and the HFPA. He had vowed to never host the awards show again after his stint in 2012, but it was announced in October that he’d be returning
