“This holiday season, revist the greatest Christmas movie ever made.” Nope, we’re not taking about It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, or Love Actually. According to the latest Honest Trailer from ScreenJunkies, we’re talking about the original Die Hard and we agree with that assessment.

The video series, which typically nitpicks film atrococities in a hilarious manner, turned the tables with a glowing rundown of the 1988 Bruce Willis actioner. “What? You thought we were gonna crap on Die Hard? The guy’s tank top is in the Smithsonian for crying out loud. This movie is friggin’ perfect!”

It’s a Christmas miracle! Though the video isn’t without some harsher culture criticism. It’s merely directed at “the countless [Die Hard] knock-offs,” such as Speed (“Die Hard on a Bus“), Olympus Has Fallen (“Die Hard in the White House“), and A Good Day to Die Hard (“Die Hard but Awful“).
