Supergirl: Toyman, Non, Martian Manhunter teased in promo for 2016 return

Supergirl will return to CBS this January, and Kara is bringing with her a certain Toyman, as well as more Non and Martian Manhunter. All three are teased in a new promo for the Jan. 4th episode “Blood Bonds.”
A lot can be gleaned from this new footage, including an aerial face-off between Supergirl and the baddie from Krypton, played by Chris Vance. Subsequent scenes preview Kara’s discovery of Henshaw’s martian roots, a doll-filled chest (presumably from Toyman), Maxwell Lord‘s interrogation/torture techniques, and more Supergirl allegations from Cat.

According to the official plot synopsis for the episode, “With Astra in captivity at the DEO, her husband, Non (Chris Vance), captures Hank, leading to a tense standoff between the two sides. Also, Kara continues to refute Cat’s allegations that she is Supergirl.”
Supergirl returns Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
