Justin Bieber fans weren’t the only ones hanging out in the rain before the “Sorry” singer’s September performance on the Today show: Kyle Mooney interviewed those very fans that morning for a Saturday Night Live sketch that was ultimately cut for time.

In the video, Mooney awkwardly asks one poncho-clad fan to keep repeating how long she’s been waiting in the rain (four hours, for the record), talks with a dad whom he declares to be Bieber’s biggest fan, and meets the man of the hour himself — er, at least who he thinks is the man of the hour: The real Bieber never appears, but an impersonator carrying a skateboard does.
