When drumming up a list of artists to take on a Billy Joel cover, Mac Miller probably isn’t at the top of many lists. But this weekend, the Pittsburgh MC offered up a haunting take on one of the Piano Man’s signature tracks.

Miller, under his production pseudonym Larry Fisherman, hit “Vienna,” the 1977 Joel track off The Stranger. He took the opening lyrics — “Slow down, you crazy child” — to heart, distorting the voice to sound aged.

Before sharing it Saturday, Miller tweeted he was about to “upload some therapy to [Soundcloud].”
