'Game of Thrones': First look at Bran Stark in season 6 return
Exclusive photo of Isaac Hempstead-Wright from the new season
While HBO endlessly teases us about Jon Snow’s fate, here’s one of Ned Stark’s sons we can definitely say is coming back to Game of Thrones: Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) will return next season after spending a year off the show and EW has your first look photo below.
We last saw Bran meeting the cave-dwelling mystical Three-Eyed Raven (now played by Max von Sydow) in the season 4 finale as Bran sought to control his fledgling psychic powers. As you can see, the 16-year-old actor has grown plenty since we last saw him. He now has short hair and is around six feet tall (poor Hodor’s back!).

UPDATE: Bran Stark speaks! Hempstead-Wright breaks silence on season 6 and teases a big storytelling shift.
