The traditional Horton Family tree-trimming happens this week on Days of Our Lives — but not without a few tears.

In the exclusive clip below, an ornament paying tribute to the late Bo Brady makes it onto the tree, along with a whole lot of others. Study them well, fans: after this week, the original Horton ornaments will reportedly make their way to the Smithsonian and replicas will take their place starting in 2016.

As is the tradition on the NBC sudser, the Horton family hosts a big tree-trimming party so members of the extended clan can hang their own personalized ornaments — and get a little sad while doing it. They sure look festive, though!

Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
