Star Wars: The Force Awakens: John Boyega surprises fans at NYC screenings
Star Wars fans watching The Force Awakens in New York City last night got an extra treat for waiting in line: John Boyega! The actor, who plays Finn in the new film, popped up to surprise audience members in various theaters.
Boyega was already in the Big Apple for a Q&A with film critic Jordan Hoffman at the SoHo Apple store, afterwards hitting the town and drumming up even more hype for Episode VII. Some of the spots that welcomed him were Regal Union Square Stadium, AMC Loews Lincoln Square, and Williamsburg Cinema.
