The series is based on a Philip K. Dick novel and created by Frank Spotnitz, and follows resistance fighters in a version of 1962 Germany and Japan that have put the U.S. under totalitarian rule.

It’s been a good year for Amazon Studios: the HFPA nominated the streaming service for five Golden Globes for Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle, easily overtaking the Big 4 broadcast networks, helping to make this year the most successful ever for online streaming.
