It’s hard out there for the Knights of Ren, at least when it comes to vision.

Speaking to Conan O’Brien on Thursday’s special Star Wars edition of Conan, Force Awakens star Adam Driver explained how difficult it was for him to see while wearing Kylo Ren’s mask.

“It was terrible,” Driver joked to O’Brien about the mask’s sight limitations. “To this day, I still don’t know who’s in the movie because I haven’t seen anybody.”

But characters having bad peripheral vision is nothing new to the Star Wars franchise. “When you watch the original trilogy, you always see stormtroopers moving in uniform, but what you don’t see is one stormtrooper talking to a wall because he thinks it’s a person,” Driver joked.
