Michael B. Jordan has played a superhero from a popular comic…and now he’ll be writing his own. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Creed and Fantastic Four actor is teaming up with writer Nathan Edmondson to pen North, an action spy comic that will include illustrations from Eisner-winning artists Denys Cowan, Bill Sienkiewicz and Bettie Breitweiser.

Edmondson, a writer for on the recent runs of Marvel’s Black Widow and Punisher, is also responsible for creating the comics Who Is Jake Ellis? and The Activity. Both are currently in development at 20th Century Fox and Paramount. North‘s story focuses on a soldier who undergoes a top-secret program that makes him a superspy. But when he’s betrayed by his own organization, he discovers just how dangerous he really is. The book will be published by Dark Horse Comics in 2016.
