The Nightly Show‘s Larry Wilmore is taking his comedic commentary to Washington, D.C., on April 30, when he’ll host the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.

“Larry’s edgy, even provocative, brand of humor means he’s certainly up to the task of skewering politicians of all ideological stripes, and we don’t expect the nation’s news media to escape unscathed, either,” said Carol Lee, the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association.

Wilmore will join Cecily Strong, Joel McHale, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, Jay Leno, and Wanda Sykes as comedians who have hosted during Barack Obama’s presidency.

The annual dinner provides scholarships for young aspiring journalists, but is more commonly noted for the star-studded guest list, the entertainer’s roast of the administration, and the president’s one-liners. No doubt we’ll see a repeat roast of Donald Trump.
