Oh Adele, always bringing people together.

Tina Fey visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night to promote her new movie Sisters, but while shmoozing with her old Saturday Night Live costar, the pair reminisced about being at the Radio City Music Hall taping of Adele’s NBC special, which aired Monday night.

Fey joked that Lorne Michaels told her she had to work the special in order to get her to come down and enjoy herself, but once she got there she found she was seated directly in front of Donald Trump.

“I was the biggest hypocrite of all time, because every day, like 51 percent of America, I watch him on the news and I’m like, ‘Oh come on man, this guy… this is too much now. Won’t you leave the Mexican people alone,'” she said. “Then I see him and I’m like, ‘Hi, how are you?'”

As Fey recalled, she kept things civil because both she and Trump shared a baby nurse. “I can’t get into a feud with Donald Trump, because the baby nurse will be mad at me,” Fey said.

Amy Poehler, though, got away without saying hello since he didn’t recognize her with red hair. “She was like, ‘Do not.’ She didn’t talk to him,” Fey said. Well played, Poehler.
