Now that Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” was dethroned as the No. 1 holiday song, the gates are open for a new top dog. Enter Fetty Wap.

The Grammy-nominated “Trap Queen” star has released a Christmas song, “Merry Xmas,” featuring Monty and producer Ace Swag Beatz. Featuring lyrics like, “I said all I want for Christmas/ Hold up, let’s check my wishlist/ Giving you something different/ I’m where they say he isn’t,” it’s a pretty solid contender for Best Christmas Song Ever (though he does sneak in a few “All I Want For Christmas Is You” lyrics).

Fetty teased the song late Monday night and tweeted, “I feel like droppin a song for y’all,” before releasing the track. “I just [record] when I get into that mood,” the rapper told EW earlier this month after releasing his most recent EP less than 12 hours after deciding to record it. “I get into that Fetty Wap mode.”

Fetty Wap also announced that he’s about to embark on a headlining U.S. tour from February through March, featuring Post Malone and Monty.
