'I honestly can't believe that he made it'
Tina Fey dropped by The Howard Stern Show on Monday to talk about her new movie Sisters, but the conversation took a more somber turn when the titular host asked Fey about the car accident that put her longtime costar and friend Tracy Morgan into a coma last year.
“We were actually on the set of Sisters when that happened,” Fey said. “We were just going through Lewis [Kay], his publicist, just trying to get updates of how he was doing, because he was in a coma. I honestly can’t believe that he made it, because he was so frail before that. He was so diabetic, and for him to have survived that; it’s incredible.”

Thankfully, Morgan overcame the health conditions working against him and survived the accident. Now, he’s back to stand-up and is set to kick off a tour in February. Recently, he returned to his old stomping grounds at Rockefeller Center to host a magnificent episode of Saturday Night Live.
