Thor star and SNL host Chris Hemsworth is Sgt. Polaski, and he doesn’t have time to bleed — even though he bleeds all over this new bit from the late-night sketch comedy.

In “Time to Bleed” from Saturday’s episode, Polaski is one of those tough cops who can’t show weakness. When he gets shot, he walks it off. When he gets lead poisoning, he makes inaudible jokes about his metaphorical hammer. He only has one thing on his mind — see this case through to the end…no matter what.

Hemsworth’s hosting turn also featured the return of Will Ferrell as George W. Bush and musical guest Chance the Rapper. Hemsworth will be seen next in Ron Howard’s In the Heart of the Sea and he’s prepping to film Thor: Ragnarok for Marvel.
