Quantico midseason finale sneak peek featuring Marcia Cross as Caleb's politician mom

Welcome to Christmas with the Haas family, where the halls have been decked and the secrets have been, well, kept.

In this clip from Sunday’s midseason finale of Quantico, Caleb (Graham Rogers) introduces girlfriend and fellow NAT Shelby (Johanna Braddy) to mom Claire (Marcia Cross), a vice presidential candidate and senator with a keen sense of style — and plenty of insight into her son’s girlfriend even before meeting her. But as Caleb notes to Shelby after their greeting, there’s more to Claire than meets the eye. After all, his father Clayton (Mark Pellegrino) is nowhere to be found and rarely spends time with Claire.

Of course, Shelby doesn’t notice this at first. “What’s wrong?” she asks when Caleb squirms after their encounter. “The great Claire Haas approved. I basically just got you on the Iron Throne.” Sure, she’s referencing Game of Thrones, but she has no idea how similar the Haas family might be to the Lannisters. See the clip above.
