A spin-off to both Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., Chicago Med has, in its first first four telecasts, averaged a 2.0 rating, 7 share in adults 18–49 and 8.9 million viewers overall in live plus same-day viewership data from Nielsen.

Chicago Med has benefited from The Voice as a lead-in, as well as from cross-promotional opportunities across Wolf’s series. A three-way crossover with Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med is set for early 2016.
