Get ready to be afraid of how much you love Michael Scott all over again.

When The Big Short star and erstwhile Office boss Steve Carell stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday, the host talked his longtime friend into serenading the audience with his impressive pipes — which most people still don’t know about.

“Well, that’s not really true,” Carell modestly protested.

“That you’re a great singer, or that people don’t know?” Colbert asked.

But even after insisting that his voice isn’t all that great, Carell couldn’t resist saying, “Yes, and” to his old improv buddy. Launching into two-part harmony on the 1975 Orleans classic “Dance With Me,” Colbert and Carell wound up swaying side by side on a desk as a disco ball descended from the ceiling. A peck on the cheek may also have been involved.

Check out the full performance above. We’ll be waiting on a B-side to this record.
