Elizabeth Banks and Miss Piggy shared some touching and funny moments at VH1 Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly, which recognized the entertainers and pop-culture moments that made an impressive mark during the year.

Miss Piggy awarded Banks with the Big Trailblazer honor, citing the actress’ contributions in front of and behind the camera. This year, Banks appeared in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 and Love & Mercy, and made her feature directorial debut with Pitch Perfect 2, (it was announced in October that she’ll also direct Pitch Perfect 3).

There seemed to be a bit of tension between the two at first: Miss Piggy joked that she’d look better in the Capitol fashions of The Hunger Games series than Banks, who plays escort to the District 12 tributes Effie Trinket. But the Muppet got serious too, recognizing Banks, who can be seen in EW’s Entertainers of the Year issue, as an accomplished producer, director, parent, and more, in addition to being a skilled actor.

“Ms. Banks has proven that, if given the opportunity, women can excel both in front and behind the camera,” Miss Piggy said, before adding with conviction: “Someday, when they see strong women like us, maybe they’ll stop calling we powerful females ‘divas,’ and start calling us ‘decisive’!”

Accepting the honor, Banks praised Miss Piggy and the other honorees, including Nicki Minaj, Taraji P. Henson, and Amy Schumer.

“I want to thank my O.G., Miss Piggy,” Banks said in her acceptance speech. “Piggy is an icon. She is a bad b—- boss, who has inspired so many women like me, and like Amy and Taraji and Nicki Minaj here tonight, speaks her mind, owns her life, entertains me, honors me with her presence.”

“Thank you, Piggy,” she concluded. “I would like to make out with you now.” And that’s exactly what happened.
