The Walking Dead Michonne telltale Games series release date trailer

A new episodic Batman series wasn’t Telltale Games’ only bit of news at the 2015 Game Awards, as the studio also unveiled a new look at its Michonne-focused The Walking Dead series. But unfortunately that reveal came with a delay for the series.

Telltale released a new trailer for the three-episode series, which will tie into Robert Kirkman’s Walking Dead comics, telling Michonne’s story between issues 126 and 139. Orange Is the New Black‘s Samira Wiley will voice Michonne in the game, which showcases what pulled Michonne away from her group and what led her back to them.

While the series was set to debut in 2015, the new trailer reveals that it has been delayed to a launch in February 2016 for consoles, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.

Telltale also revealed the studio has a Batman episodic series on the way for 2016, while it is currently running through the five-part Minecraft: Story Mode first season.
