Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens

From this galaxy to the one far, far away, everyone wants to know where the heck Luke Skywalker is.

He’s not on the poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he’s hardly in the trailer, and now director J.J. Abrams doesn’t even have a bead on the actor who plays him, Mark Hamill.

At least that’s what Abrams would have us all believe. During Friday’s Star Wars Twitter takeover, Abrams responded to a question from none other than Hamill himself, who teasingly asked if the J.J. in his name actually stands for Jar Jar (as in Binks, the much-derided prequel character and long-shot Sith lord).

“Yes, Mark,” Abrams replied. Then, engaging caps lock to properly troll the Star Wars faithful, he added, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!”

They’ll find out Dec. 18, when The Force Awakens hits theaters.
