Eagles of Death Metal announced earlier this week that, in the wake of November’s terror attacks in Paris, it would donate all publishing income from its recent song “I Love You All The Time” to charity and encouraged bands to cover the tune.

The post-punk group Savages performed at the Paris venue La Maroquinerie Tuesday night and became the latest act to accept the challenge.

“Whether you’re Soul or R&B; Hip Hop or Hippy; Garage, Goth, Country, Punk or Pop; Death Metal or DJ; It matters not,” the band wrote when it requested that others cover “I Love You All The Time. “Whether your version is faithful to ours, instrumental, uses only lyrics or fragments thereof or is completely reimagined in every way, it matters not. Your individual musical differences become our collective strength.” Besides Savages, My Morning Jacket and Ween have performed the song.

Funds raised through covers of “I Love You All The Time” will go to the Sweet Stuff Foundation, a charity launched by Eagles of Death Metal co-founder Josh Homme that has already been accepting donations following the attack.
