When it comes down to Star Wars vs. Star Trek — or, specifically, Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon vs. Captain Kirk’s Starship Enterprise — the answer is clear for Neil deGrasse Tyson.

“Oh, that’s easy! Oh my gosh. The Enterprise — there’s no question,” deGrasse Tyson said in response to a fan question on National Geographic’s Star Talk.

The Enterprise, he says, has the benefit of being “fake-real,” because it has scientists and engineers on board monitoring its functions, while Star Wars’ signature ship is “fake-fake” (“it’s just part of a fantasy storytelling,” according to him).

Watch below to see the other reason, one deGrasse Tyson says he’s thought long and hard about, as to why the Enterprise is superior to other fictional spaceships.

The Millennium Falcon will be back on screen later this month in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, while the Enterprise’s crew will return in Star Trek Beyond in July 2016.
