Peer into Skrillex’s mind, and this music video is what you see. The EDM musician co-wrote, produced, and edited the trippy clip for his remix of GTA’s song “Red Lips.”

Directed by prior Skrillex collaborator Grant Singer, “Red Lips” is fantastical horror with a dash of sci-fi. Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Atlantis) stars as a woman who’s running away from masked monsters caked in white powder; the influence of The Cell, which Skrillex referenced in an interview with Pitchfork, is clear. The video took six months to make and while most of that time was spent planning, Skrillex says the team had to be particular with their aesthetic choices.
