Erykah Badu hosted the BET Soul Train Awards on Sunday night, and as soon as the show started she took aim at one of hip-hop’s controversial stars: Iggy Azalea.

During the opening monologue, Badu spoke of keeping the Soul Train Awards close to home, only focusing on soul and R&B music instead of rap. Badu, who recently released a phone-themed mixtape called But You Caint Use My Phone, then pretended to take calls from various rappers. “Who?” she said into the phone. “Iggy Azalea? Oh, you can definitely come because what you’re doing is definitely not rap.”

The show also included a thunderous tribute to Jill Scott and a “Soul Cypher” featuring Badu, K-Ci Hailey, Lalah Hathaway, Chrisette Michelle, and Eddie Levert.
