Henry Cavill has been using his superpowers for good with his Cavill Conservation initiative in support of the Durrel Wildlife Park. In continuing his efforts to support wildlife conservation, the Batman v Superman star met and adopted the park’s latest addition: a baby fruit bat named Ben.

“We’re delighted to announce that Henry has officially adopted Ben the bat,” reads a statement on the organization’s Facebook page. “Henry dropped by for a visit and met little Ben and his mum Claudia.”

According to Cavill Conservation, Livingstone’s fruit bats face serious challenges in the wild, which is why newborn baby Ben is so important. By joining Cavill and adopting Ben, the Park states the funds will help to further their work in protecting species like Ben’s.
