Matthew Weiner has ended his Mad Men break by going from Madison Avenue to Litchfield Prison. The creator of the acclaimed AMC series is directing an episode of Orange is the New Black‘s season 4, EW has confirmed.

Weiner and OITNB creator Jenji Kohan are friends. It’s the first major project Weiner has directed that he has not written; he has nine directorial Mad Men credits and made Are You Here, the 2013 dramedy starring Jack Black, Owen Wilson, and Amy Poehler.

OITNB‘s third season premiered in June and retained the Netflix series’ high quality. A month before Orange began, Mad Men shuttered its series, concluding a remarkable seven-season run.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.

Jenji Kohan’s absorbing ensemble dramedy, based on Piper Kerman’s memoir of the same name, takes viewers inside the walls of Litchfield, a minimum security women’s prison where nothing’s as simple as it seems—especially the inmates.
